old marks,
new cities.
The phoenix, reborn in circuits. The lion, holding the gate. Two emblems pressed deep into premium nappa leather — designed in Tokyo, made by professional artisans.
Every piece begins as a single panel of soft nappa leather, hand-pressed against original artwork drawn for this brand and no other. The edges are burnished by hand, the leather softens with every season you carry it. Carry it hard. The piece becomes yours over time.
the phoenix, reborn in circuits
the lion, holding the gate
two emblems,
three thousand
years apart.
The phoenix has meant rebirth for three millennia — rising from what burned it. We drew ours into a circuit board, because the thing being rebuilt now is mostly made of information.
The lion — shishi — is older still. Carved in stone outside every shrine in Japan, guarding what's inside. We gave it a full mane of sunlight and set it on card holders. Same job, smaller scale: guard what you carry.

who makes your piece
"we do not design things to last a season. we make them so that in twenty years they will have become something else — yours."
Every Hakari piece passes through the hands of a single maker. The leather is cut, the emblem pressed, the edges burnished, the numbers inked — all in one studio, all by one pair of hands before it leaves.
The leather softens, the emboss deepens, the piece becomes yours over time.
what people are saying
"Feels like holding something from another century. The emboss detail alone is worth it."
"Three months in and the jade is only getting richer. Genuinely no regrets."
"People ask about this every time I take it out. Worth it for that alone."
